I really only have one thing to say so It's gunna be hard to draw this out into 100 words. Ok. I think this is a really great peice, way to take a run of the mill figure of speach and give it new life. This is definately not something anyone else thought of previously (and If they did then it's my bad.) I think one improvement you could have made on this would be to have a few more hales in the leaf. Right now this piece is kind of set up with two ways to count the positive and negitive space. The first is the leaf and the background. You did great with keeping that evenly balenced but there is yet another area you can think about positive and negitive space: the leaf itself. If look at just the leaf the green would be the negitive and the hole would be positive(as backwards as that may be) You could use just a few more holes in the leave to take up space, or use a bigger hole puncher thing. that way there will be more for people to look at, and it won't be so empty.
